When changes can connect you to your best.

After almost two years of the pandemic, we started to see some effects on people's lives and behavior. Many of them took advantage of this period to reflect on their role in society, their lifestyle, their sense of happiness, and, of course, what they could do to change their scenarios based on what they now call YOLO - "you only live once."

According to Harvard University economist Jason Furman, workers are rethinking their future. Around the entire planet, they are reflecting on how they can turn their lives around. A survey ordered by Microsoft reveals that 40% of respondents fit the career reassessment list, for example. Data from the Federal Bureau of Labor Statistics indicates that 4 million Americans ask to leave their jobs each month. People are also asking for retirement in advance or at least thinking about improving their quality of life. Some businesses and markets need to rethink or adjust their structures and services to new standards, customer needs, and expected results, as is the case of the hotel and retail sectors. According to The Wall Street Journal, many economists expect the labor shortage to persist. Scarce labor is becoming a fixture of the U.S. economy, reshaping the workforce and prodding firms to adapt by raising wages, cutting services, and investing in automation. In some way, all of these changes have impacted the relationship between companies and their employees and customers.

A portion of these people is moving to the other side of the counter, and new businesses have

been opening at record speed. Many financial resources like Private Placement, crowdfunding, families and friends, have already been used to make the dream of creating and developing your own business a reality.

A new world with new attributes and values is being built. There is still a lot to come, a lot to do, and one thing is certain: people have turned more to their needs and to their families, well-being, and health, which points us to a better way of life in all senses. Whether these change are here to stay or will last only until their savings disappear, only time will tell.
